Community Fridge

Visit our Community Fridge located in the foyer of  Swaffham Community Centre from 9.30am every week day. 

We still follow the same procedure of one household at a time and request that you continue to wear a face covering (unless medically exempt) to ensure a safe experience for all.

Reducing the amount of food sent to land fill is something we feel passionate about. Help us reduce the waste by visiting the Community Fridge and picking up some essentials for your own kitchen. 

The fridge is open to everyone. All items are free to take, our only rule is that you don't take more than you will be able to use.

Our volunteers collect the food donations from Waitrose, Tesco and Iceland. We will accept donations from members of the community too, for example if you have a glut of allotment produce.

"I would recommend to any one as it is a brilliant service for elderly people and families with children to feed. At the same time it is saving food that would have been dumped - food that is still good to eat. Thanks go out to anyone that is donating to help the community."
