The Friends of Swaffham Heritage aim to support the museum both financially and by encouraging Friends’ to help out as Museum Volunteers. Volunteers work both behind the scenes and as stewards.

The membership fee to join the Friends is a one-off Life membership fee of £10 for an individual or £15 for a family (two adults and two children under 16 years of age living at the same address). This gives you free access to all the museum galleries for life.

The group was formed in 2008 as a non-profit making group to undertake original research into aspects of Swaffham's history and also to work with other organisations and individuals with similar aspirations.

The Rotary Club of Swaffham has 24 members, a group of men and women from Swaffham and District who give service locally and internationally for those in need. The League of Friends is an organisation that helps to raise funds for equipment and ammenities for the patients and staff, over and above the annual budget of the hospital and occasionally the three doctors surgeries that support the hospital.
